Our First Ever Future-Thinking Big Walk!
We are very excited that this year our BIG WALK which is our BIGGEST fundraising event of the year will take place virtually on Saturday, 7 November 2020 from 09:00 – 13:00! Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to explore innovative ways to still make what has been tradition for the last 25 years a possibility.
Hosting our BIG WALK virtually is not only exciting, but also shows our school’s commitment towards becoming a leader in the 4th Industrial Revolution!
THIS YEAR, OUR BIG WALK WILL LOOK ENTIRELY DIFFERENT!
We have divided the event into THREE ROUNDS and we CHALLENGE our parents to enter as many rounds as they’d like!
EVENT REGISTRATION DETAILS:

SUBMIT YOUR RESULT SCREENSHOTS HERE:
To SUBMIT your results, simply click on the applicable tile below and upload the screenshot from your NIKE RUN CLUB app. We will only start accepting results 5 minutes after each challenge has begun.

2K CHALLENGE:
- Challenge starts at 09:00 and ends at 09:30.
- Submissions of results open at 09:05 & close at 09:30.
5K CHALLENGE:
- Challenge starts at 09:50 and ends at 10:35.
- Submission of results open at 09:55 & close at 10:35.
10K CHALLENGE:
- Challenge starts at 10:55 and ends at 11:55.
- Submission of results open at 11:00 and close at 11:55.
SUBMIT YOUR ‘SPIRIT’ PHOTOS HERE:
What is a Big Walk without CREATIVE outfits? To SUBMIT photos of your creative outfits or funny poses, simply click on the applicable tile below and upload ONE photo per challenge round. We will only start accepting photos 5 minutes after each challenge has begun. Please DO NOT submit VIDEOS via our website – ONLY ONE PHOTO per challenge round allowed.
You can upload your ‘Spirit’ photos & videos to your social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram) – remember to use the hashtag: #SaxonBigWalk when uploading your photos and videos.
